The Hoole KitchenPosted on 29/09/21
Take a closer look at this stunning project we recently completed in Cheshire. The layering of colours and finishing touches with the classic shaker-style design creates a really light, airy and uncluttered space. The whole kitchen design was inspired by the clients and their vision for this family space.
All front frames and doors were made from solid tulipwood. It’s a perfect wood to use for projects like this because of its fine, consistent grain making it possible to achieve the smooth, flawless finish ready for painting. We’ve used solid Oak interiors which creates such a beautiful contrast to the paint finish.
The kitchen's main feature is the big bespoke island, which is made from bespoke Shaker cupboards, creating a long preparation table with breakfast bar seating along one side. The island houses the sink complete with Quooker tap, beautiful Oak cutlery drawers and clever under-sink storage. The colour of the island is a slightly darker shade to the rest of the kitchen, creating extra depth and character in the space.
Of course, this is a family space and is required to be functional as well as aesthetically pleasing so it was designed to include a range of bespoke, hidden storage solutions inside the cupboards and drawers- including tailored cutlery drawers, pull-out recycling storage, concealed swan-neck drawer stack, inbuilt spice racks and, where you would usually find a dummy drawer panel under the sink, we designed a neat pull-down drawer to hide sponges, cloths and other bits and pieces.
Every detail has been handmade by our master craftsmen. Along with the timeless colour palette and high-quality fittings the result is an impressive room that oozes high-quality and luxury.
